Most of us head into the New Year with good intentions to achieve healthy goals and many of us have to admit that around mid-January, early February we throw in the towel with more than a bit of frustration. One of the reasons that some of our resolutions do not manifest is because we are consciously trying to change habits or sabotaging behaviors with willpower. Habits are in the subconscious so if we try with willpower we are out of alignment with where the habit is really located… in the subconscious mind.
Most of us are designed to move away from things that we feel are painful. When we have the realization that by not changing unhealthy behaviors we may end up experiencing even more pain- this motivates change. Then when we create a goal list that focuses a strong desire for the things we do want, like being healthy, happy and more prosperous, and we take these new beliefs down to a deeper level with hypnosis that’s when we will begin to notice more achievements and change.
