A client of mine wants to ask their boss for a pay raise and they were telling me about how they planned on asking their boss for it. My client's dialogue was defensive and to the point because they felt frustrated and also felt the need to justify what they are worth.
After listening to them aggressively tell me why they should get the raise I took what they said and put a hypnotic more persuasive spin on it and then said it back to them- they agreed that if they could present it that way to their boss they would most likely get the raise.
